This is quite irritating when the windshield washing fluid barely makes it to the bottom of the windshield while driving during the inclement weather. The trouble sets when the windshield fluid travels through the tubes and then to nozzles mounted on the hood of your car. And the result is that the plugs in the tubes cause low pressure. All this leads to more mess as windshield wipers not able to clean the windshield perfectly and the complete tube is clogged with dirt and debris. Therefore it’s important to clean and flush off the windshield washer’s fluid lines from time to time and include the process in the routine maintenance of your car.
Important things you’ll require:
1.Syringe2.Compressed air- Firstly you have to detach the fluid lines from the washer fluid reservoir and then at the back of the hood where the tubing splits into two lines to the windshield.
- Now just fill warm water in a bulb or plunger-type syringe.
- Next you need to insert the syringe into the single tubing end. After infixing the syringe, slowly flush off the dirt and debris from the tubing and clear the clogged tube.
- You can also use compressed air to clear dust from the tubing.
After cleaning it thoroughly, reconnect the washer fluid line to the reservoir and at the back of the hood
