.Check out the radiator and coolant hoses that are leaking, cracked or rusted.
.Do not miss to check for signs of dry rotting or splits in the hoses; if they are rotted then it clearly indicates that the rubber is deteriorated.
.Now take hold of the radiator hose near the clamp and make sure the hose should be tight and must not rotate.
.Do check and verify that there is sufficient amount of tension in the belts.
.Apply enough pressure to the belt and keep an eye on it so that it deflects approximately one and a half inch.
.Squeeze and check the compressibility of radiator hoses and make sure they are firm to hold. When you squeeze the radiator hoses, they should spring back. But if the hose remains flat then it might be deteriorating from inside.
.Before you change the radiator or coolant hoses ensure that they are drained out completely. After you discard the liquid replace the hoses and refill the radiator with new coolant.
