The rainy season comes with a need of protecting your vehicle from getting damaged from water. Parking or driving your car on waterlogged streets can be highly dangerous for it, thus, a number of precautions are needed to be taken during this season. Below are few preventive tips in order to save your vehicle from getting damaged.
1)Insurance Cover: – The best cover for your vehicle during heavy rains is an insurance cover. Don’t forget to renew or update the insurance policy of you car so that the expense of repairing of any unfortunate damange in the car can be fully/partially reimbursed by the insurance provider. The comprehensive motor policy of a vehicle generally covers damage due to inundation, flood, earthquake etc.
2)Park at a Safe Place: – During the rainy seasons, avoid parking the car in low-lying parking lots or areas like basements. Also avoid parking the car at the areas like under a tree or hording and near a transformer. However, if the vehicle has already been damaged due to inundation or heavy rain, never try to start any electrical installation as it might cause fire in the vehicle.
