Removing Unwanted Stickers Glued On A Car

Gluing of the unwanted stickers on parked car is perhaps one of the most common problems faced by the owners. It just degraded the road presence of your car and sometimes can even restrict proper outside visibility. It can happen any where be it a shopping mall parking or be it your car parked at your door step. And in today’s marketing oriented world, these unwanted stickers have almost become unavoidable. So, whenever it happens to you, don’t scratch the sticker in panic as it can harm the original paint of your car. Instead, try to follow these simple but essential instructions to remove these stickers.
Using Denatured Alcohol: – Rub the sticker with a paper towel dipped into denatured alcohol solution. Rub out the residues of stickers with the help of a razor, however, be careful and avoid rubbing the original paint of the car. Both razor and denatured alcohol solution should be kept out of children’s reach.
Using Cooking Oil: – It is probably one of the most simple and effective ways of removing a car sticker. All you need to do is apply a small quantity of oil on the sticker and wait for a while till the oil fully penetrates the sticker. Now you will be able to remove the sticker very easily with the help of a razor or a window scrapper.
Using White Vinegar: – Most of you may not be aware of it, but the white vinegar solution can prove highly helpful in getting rid of an unwanted sticker glued on your car. Keep a white vinegar dipped paper towel on the sticker you want to remove for 20 minutes and the sticker will come out very easily.
Using Fabric Softener: – The liquid fabric softener mixed with acetone (nail paint remover) in a 50:50 ratio can clean out a sticker effectively with the help of a window scrapper or a razor.
