Car road trips are always monotonous, especially when it’s long, require daily travelling, there is too much of traffic etc. and these are actually few of the reasons behind the monotony. Of course long distance trips are full of fun and enjoyment if you are travelling with your family but hours of driving can lead to boredom and exhaustion. Even business trips are said to render monotony and lack of interest and it’s not always convenient and easy to stop and rest for a while or take a small break in between the tiring journeys. There are various conditions that cause fatigue while driving especially for an extended period of time. 2.Listen music and turn the radio on for some interactive actions in order to keep your mind alert and body out of fatigue. You can even engage yourself in some of your favorite old recording of jokes or nursery rhymes recited by your children.
3.Engage yourself in some talks or conversation, converse with the passengers or involve in some general discussions.
4.Chew a mint gum and enjoy its refreshing taste, sucking fresh mint leaves can actually boost alertness as peppermint and cinnamon cuts fatigue.
5.Coffee is the best option to keep you alert so grab a strong cup of coffee for that immediate boost. If Coffee is not what’s your preference you can go for any of the caffeinated beverage.
6.Simple deep breathing and few finger exercises can also make you defeat drowsiness.
7.Reciting and narrating to oneself enhances alertness and eliminates sleepy feeling.
8.Lastly if possible, drive only when you are fresh and had enough of good sleep. Starting for a journey early in the morning when you are completely refreshful is the idle time to drive because lack of sleep is the major cause
