Car headlights also known as the headlamps of the car are used to provide light on the dark roads during driving. The headlight actually illuminates the road with light and helps the driver to check out road and can drive perfectly in a safe manner. But there are times when the headlights on the road do not display clear light making the drive unsafe. Therefore maintaining the headlights is essential and the task is not so tough to execute, rendering you a much safer road to drive in.
General Maintenance Tips for the Headlight:-

1. If your car’s headlight is cracked or broken, immediately replace it. A replacement is required because moisture and dust will enter the cracked headlight making it dimmer, and too much glare is not safe for other drivers as well. But in case you cannot replace the headlight immediately, better seal the crack with resin till that time.
2. Dirty headlight will never give a clear vision and you’ll end up having a reduced bright light on the roads. Also make sure to wipe your car’s headlights every time you wash the windshield. Many of the auto hardware stores provide especially made headlight cleaners for cleaning the headlamps, so if possible use them.
3. Annually examining the car’s headlights is recommended so that they are thoroughly checked and kept in the proper direction.
4. Once every year, replace the bulbs in your headlight for that sheer brightness and proper light. Remember to replace both the bulbs at a time even if only one is fused.

Ways to get rid of condensation from Headlights:-

1. Firstly remove the car’s headlights.
2. Now slowly and steadily drill a small hole at the bottom of the headlight with the help of a fine driller machine.
3. Thereafter simply drain the water collected in the car’s headlight.
4. In order to quickly remove all the moisture and water from the headlight, better keep it in a dry place for a while or next to your air conditioning ducts.
5. After it is dried completely, reseal the headlight using a silicone seal and better don’t use any glue or quick fix to reseal else it will crack or leak after sometime.
6. Lastly, just reinstall the headlight back onto your car for further use.
